The Legal Tech Hub Vienna is an inter-office, purely private-sector initiative of law firms. Its core objective is to lead the legal consulting industry proactively, client oriented and innovatively into the digital future. Beyond the national borders of Austria, with a focus on Europe including CEE.
The LTH Vienna is engaged in a variety of activities to explore and shape the infinite vastness of the Legal Universe.
TRANSACTIONS
Clients are constantly demanding lawyers to work faster and more cost-effectively. At the LTHV, we seek solutions and technologies to streamline and optimize transactions. Be it through a more intelligent review and creation of documents, the automation of processes or innovations that change entire well known processes.
DATA MANAGEMENT & LITIGATION
Lawyers are experiencing an explosion in information they have to deal with in the course of preparing a case. At LTHV, however, we are looking for innovations that can help lawyers use this data more effectively and efficiently and thus achieve better results for themselves and their clients.
LEGAL FIRM MANAGEMENT
In order to be able to offer clients the best service possible, a certain infrastructure as well as systems are required that are easy and efficient also for internal use. Therefore, LTHV is looking for technologies that help to manage and optimize the lawyer’s business while maintaining the highest quality of service.
OUT OF THE BOX JOKER
Innovation often emerges “out of the box”. This is why we at LTHV are looking for solutions based on ideas that have not been thought of yet. The Joker captures those innovations that do not fit into one of the other categories.
Digitalization & Innovation
Innovation is at the top of our agenda. Why? First of all, because it is important for clients. We believe that the legal field is ready for change – being a good lawyer is no longer enough. These are uncertain times for clients, in an increasingly complex world, in industries confronted with disruption and digitization. We want to redesign legal advice in order for it to make sense for clients.
The LTHV does just that.

Start-Up & SME
Accelerator
The LTHV Accelerator is a 5-month-programme open for Start-Ups and SMEs working on legal topics. Participants are supported in alternation virtually and in attendance modules by (legal) experts, mentors and coaches. The programme is PoC-oriented and tailored to individual requirements.
LTHV offers the participants a location to feel comfortable, inspired and have fun innovating. The hub offers a working space and infrastructure for the participants of the LTHV Accelerator and the cooperation partners and provides space for focus groups, group work, seminars and events.

The LTHV considers itself to be an agile association. Further development is written in capital letters, and work in progress is sought. That is why the LTHV is always open for new members. Further law firms are welcome, as well as other companies and institutions from the „Lex Universum“. The members benefit from the LTHV in a variety of ways – from advantage in knowledge to legal tech networking.
